| Learn about Fly Fishing on Northern New Mexico Rivers |
FAM is short for "familiarization". LPFFC offers FAM trips so to introduce the membership to New Mexico waters. These are unguided day trips hosted by Pam and/or Ken Dettelbach.
There is no charge for a member to participate in these trips. If a member brings a guest, there is a $10 donation to LPFFC. Participants will be given maps and general information on the area visited. Often the group will stop off for lunch at a local restaurant. Picnics can also be planned for the events. Usually the members meet in Santa Fe at The Reel Life at a designated time and car pool to the destination. Members can fish these areas – unguided - for short periods of time.
LPFFC members are encouraged to request dates and locations for FAM trips. These trips can be incorporated into the program, schedule permitting. If the schedule is clear for that time, the FAM trip will be announced to the membership. As new FAM trips are scheduled, the calendar and announcement will appear on lpffc.com. Members will also receive e-mails.
Pecos Exclusive Private Access: Members of LPFFC who want to go out to this venue for the first time, please e-mail pams@lpffc.com to let us know when you want to go out. If the schedule permits, either Pam or Ken Dettelbach will take you out; otherwise an alternate date will be set.

In that case, there would be a
small fee to cover the guide's time.
