Taylor Streit was wading the fabled waters of the Catskills before he was ten. He was commercially tying flies and guiding in his teens. Among the many fly patterns developed by Taylor is the mighty Poundmiester.
Moving to Northern New Mexico in the late sixties, Taylor opened the Taos Fly Shop. He has guided fly fishers for 25 years, primarily in New Mexico, but also in the Bahamas and Argentina.
In 2001, Taylor Streit was unanimously inducted into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame as a legendary guide.

We are honored to have Taylor Streit share his New Mexico fishing experiences and present a slide show on fly fishing in Northern New Mexico at this meeting. Taylor will announce some special LPFFC forthcoming evens and opportunities for fly fishers on all levels of expertise.
