Fly Fishing for Pike and Tiger Muskies in New Mexico
FLY FISHING CLINIC FOR TIGER MUSKIES BLUE WATER LAKE, NEW MEXICO
Michael Bishop (guide and instructor having a passion for fishing for pike and tiger muskies in New Mexico) has offered to conduct a special clinic on Bluewater Lake for LPFFC members. There will be demonstrations on the necessary fly fishing techniques needed to catch tiger muskies.

YOU WILL ACTUALLY GO OUT FISHING FOR THE TIGER MUSKIES!

JULY 25 (Saturday)
JULY 26 (Sunday) optional

Guided by Michael Bishop, expert New Mexico guide for pike and tiger muskies.
Michael is/was LPFFC's presenter at the Member's meeting on May 21st.
Hosted by Pam and Ken Dettelbach.

Donation is $40 to participate. This will go to Muskies Inc. Chapter #59 in New Mexico to help the New Mexico Game and Fish with the stocking program for Tiger Muskies.

Lunch and all equipment will be provided. However, if you have an 8 or 9 weight rod
please bring it with you.

Bluewater Lake State Park is 28 miles west of Grants via I-40 and NM 412

YOU HAVE MANY OPTIONS:
You can leave for this destination on Friday afternoon, July 23 and stay over night in Grants. Be at
Bluewater Lake for an early start at the clinic. (Recommended)

You could leave for this destination around 6:00 A.M. on Saturday for Bluewater Lake - approximately
a two hour ride from Santa Fe.

Stay in Grants on Saturday night if you don't desire to make that trip back home that day.

Camp out at Bluewater State Park.

For those of you who would like to spend Sunday fishing at Bluewater Lake, Michael Bishop has offered to extend the clinic so that you can gain additional experience. Note also, the lake is stocked with trout as well.
