LPFFC has outreached from a fly fishing club to an outdoor adventure club that also includes upland bird hunting, big game hunting, and riding into the wilderness to camp, fish and hunt.

December 18, 2007, Los Pescadores Fly Fishing Club was established as a New Mexico Non-Profit Corporation with a tax structure of 501 (c)(7). The purpose of being an incorporated club provides the membership of the club a safe and organized place to engage in fly fishing, hunting and other outdoor recreational activities as well as establishing the club as a legal entity.

The goals and objectives of LPFFC are guided by the following Mission Statement, adopted in the year 2008.
MISSION STATEMENT
· To develop excellence in the sport of fly fishing, hunting and other outdoor recreational activities.
· To educate the public on the natural resources that the State of New Mexico has to offer.
· To involve participation at all levels in fly fishing, hunting and other outdoor recreational activities.
· To offer a supportive environment in which each member can improve their knowledge and skills and have fun in the process.
· To offer its members exclusive access to quality catch and release fly fishing by way of arrangements with private property owners throughout New Mexico.
· To educate its members on the public waters throughout New Mexico.
· To conserve and protect cold-water fishery resources and New Mexico’s watersheds.
· To foster ethical and sensible conservation practices.
· To participate in Habitat Conservation.
· To support organizations, associations and clubs that promotes restoration and management of habitats for fish and game.
· To introduce youth to the sport of fly fishing and install the enjoyment of conserving of the waters of New Mexico.
· To support and get involved in community outreach, educational and restoration projects.

Los Pescadores currently offers its members exclusive access to premier fly fishing and extreme hunting adventures through its arrangements with private venues within the North Central and Northeast Regions of New Mexico. With the growth and development of the club Los Pescadores will acquire exclusive properties that provide exceptional fishing on uncrowded waters on our high mountain lakes, rivers and streams throughout New Mexico.
LPFFC provides well rounded outdoor experiences including the opportunities for fishing back pack trips through New Mexico′s beautiful mountains and forests. Additionally, LPFFC can provide bird hunting enthusiasts with upland bird hunting programs offering packages which include quail, pheasant and grouse hunts. For the big game enthusiasts, there are hunt packages for Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, antelope, turkey, bear and mountain lion.
